The final transformation of Dantes is made by the death of Edouard. It really hits the count hard and changes him. He never meant for any innocent person to be killed, this really changes Dantes into what his final transformation turns out to be.
Ok tom thanks for having the same answer. I guess cuz we are both in the same suida class. Well, edmond becomes the count for his revenge plot but when he realizes that he has gone too far, he decides to leave that persona and leave with haydee as a new edmond
I agree with Tom. When Edouard died, Edmond realized that he had gone a little too far. He wanted revenge on Monsieur de Villefort, but at what price? Edmond really wanted Monsieur de Villefort to suffer. When he was the cause of Edouard's death, he knew that he had gone too far. He changes his ways of getting revenge for Baron Danglars because he did not want to go too far again.
The final transformation of Edmond is in th end of the story where he reunites Maximilien and Valentine. Doing this causes him to clear his consience, considering he doesnt owe anybody anything and his vengeance has been completed. At this point he has nothing to worry about and can just relax and live his life with Haydee.
Dantes final transformation comes when he is finished getting revenge against Danglars. When Dantes is done with Danglars, he is able to put all of his vengeance behind him, and begin to lead a good and productive life.
dantes final transormation comes when he sees the body of young eduoard. he realizes that he had gone too far, and that what he was doing to the conspirators was worse than what they had done to him. following this, he does not kill danglars like he probably would have before seeing eduaord. instead, he just drains his finances and lets him go.
The final transformation of Dantes is the death of Edward. It really impacts the count and changes him as a person. He never had the intention if innocent people being killed, this changes Dantes into what the final transformation is.
Dantes' final transformation comes from seeing his old cell. When he sees this and relives the hardships that he had to endure, Dantes realizes that he did administer justice. He did the right thing and that clears his conscience and turns him into the man he is
Dantes has a learning experience throughout his transformation. As he is getting revenge on the people that betrayed him, he learns. From getting revenge on Villefort, Dantes learned that he was beginning to take things a little to far. By killing Edouard, who was not involved in anything, Dantes completed his final transformation.
It is the final death of Edouard that is inadvertently caused by Dantes' revenge that cause his final transformation. Throughout the novel, he believes that God is on his side. However, it is when an innocent life is killed and Dantes realizes that everything is not in his control that he changes and transforms.
The death of Edouard (as many have said before) is really the turning point. It's the first giant flaw in his otherwise brilliant revenge scheme. Honestly, with a revenge scheme as complicated as Dantes's, i'm surprised more didn't go wrong. When his revenge scheme did finally take a turn for the worse, Dantes realized that his plan is hurting innocent people, and this initiates the change.
Eduard's death is one of the things that changes Dantes for the final time. However, it is not the only thing that changes him for the final time. seeing how much Maximilien loves Valentine finally changes him because he sees what he could have destroyed in his quest for revenge and is sorry that he even attempted to do such a thing.
